Deluxe Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel, Istanbul

Although the rooms were old and dated with uneven floors, the hotel provided an amazing view. Despite some cleanliness issues, it had many necessary facilities; however, an iron was lacking.

The hotel offers good-sized rooms with a great location and outstanding views from the top-floor restaurant. However, the rooms are a bit small for two people and could use an update in terms of facilities. The service, especially from Mr Menduh at the reception, is exceptional, but there were minor issues with mischarges. The dining options were basic, and the breakfast could be improved. The location is superb, close to major attractions in Istanbul. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.
